Dan McClure wins Harley

Dan McClure of APAI member firm Walsh & Kelly, Inc was the grand prize winner in the Harley Street Glide raffle conducted by the Road Construction Awareness Corporation RCAC on Sunday, August 2 in Indianapolis.   Dan is a project manager with the firm and is active on several APAI committees.

Dan said afterwards to APAI:  “I was absolutely shocked.  I didn't really expect to win.  I bought the tickets because it went to an excellent cause for our industry and made the drive to Noblesville to get out with the family, enjoy a beautiful day and further support the cause.  I am still beside myself with excitement.   (I was) a little embarrassed in front of all those bikers telling me to start it up and I had to ask how.  Got to get some lessons now!”

Tim Harvey of Milestone Contractors, one of the founders of RCAC, commented after the drawing to APAI:    “We want as many people as possible to become interested in our organization.  This picture will certainly generate some excitement as it is passed along.   Thank you APAI for your support and promotion of our efforts.  We will help motorists understand that there are real people building and repairing highways all around the country, and that we deserve their respect and undivided attention.  This event provided a very important prelude of things to come.  Congratulations to Dan McClure.  You are really looking good!”
